The Turks and Caicos comprise 40 different islands and cays, boasting some of the world’s most stunning, fine white beaches. Providenciales, the third largest island, features many ultra-luxury villas and resorts along the famous Grace Bay Beach.

Only a 90-minute flight from Miami, Turks & Caicos offers outrageous beaches littered with enormous conch shells and perpetually sunny weather, making it the ultimate escape. The area is experiencing an abundance of new development, with numerous high-end luxury villas and private villa residences enclosed within spectacular resorts. The future of Turks & Caicos offers so many new destinations that it will be difficult to pick just one.

Turks and Caicos Islands welcomed 1.5 million visitors in 2023 and became a popular second-home destination due to their beauty and accessibility. The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) recently identified the islands as the best-performing global destination in 2023.

The destination’s growth includes the launch of several new resort and residential developments this year and in the future. These new properties offer a variety of accommodations, such as residential homes and hotels, as well as innovative restaurants, spas, activities, and advancements in ecotourism.

An important part of future development in the area is improving connectivity within Turks and Caicos. Plans for a new premiere airport terminal and upgraded port facilities are underway, as is the proposed South Caicos Airport upgrade for international arrivals directly to the area.

As increased travelers pressure the region’s ecosystems and resources, the plan includes luxury accommodations to less-visited areas like Grand Turk, North and Middle Caicos, South Caicos, and Salt Cay. This will hopefully attract visitors who value conservation efforts and sustainable travel.
